Card 1)
The Monk Seal was born on Poipu beach. It is about 6 weeks old and
was soon on its own. Rolling over it looked like is was trying to
do the
"Shaka" sign.
Card 2)
Dolphins are a common sight here in Kauai. Here a Spinner Dolphin
jumps with a young dolphin by her side.
Card 3)
The Iliau only grows on Kauai. It has a beautiful bloom and I think
that
it is very under-appreciated. On the edge of Waimea Canyon it is a
sight missed by most visitors to the Canyon.
Card 4)
Whales come to Kauai and the other Hawaiian Islands every winter to
calve and to breed. This whale put on quite a show in front of Kekaha
.
